Escalate Supports Home Base Theatre

LogoOver the past two years, Escalate Dance and Theatre Studio has been a proud sponsor of Home Base Theatre! This year, we’re proud to do it again. Working with Home Base Theatre (HBT) over the years has come in many shapes and sizes, include facility rehearsal space, choreography by Ann Marie Omeish, and more.

HBT has traditionally performed smaller shows, with smaller casts, in smaller spaces. But this year, they’ve stepped it up a bit and are ready to challenge themselves (and their ensemble) to perform Shrek the Musical. This is an exciting time for them, as it is the regional premiere of Shrek the Musical… its last home being Broadway!

As we said before, we are so proud to be supporting this fantastic theatre company, and excited to see what they can produce. Two of our amazing teachers,Todd Bruse and Lauren Looby, will be directing and choreographing the show respectably. We also have a number of students performing in the show too, including: Kylea Barnes, Sara Bowman, Molly Dorso, Jordan Omeish, Zoe Tamarkin. Performance dates are this summer July 25th through August 3rd at Maple Grove Senior High School. Ticket sales begin May 1st. For more information, visit their website at homebasetheatre.com. Also, Home Base Theatre is looking for some financial backing, if you’d like to give, find more information on their support page or contact info@homebasetheatre.com.
